I first met Rosemary in 1974, we were both shopping in Preston,We hit it off straight away and six years later we were married, We didn't have any children but we loved each other very much, My memories of Rosy are all the holidays we had together and just being with Rosy and knowing that we were a couple,We were both vegetarians
We enjoyed walking and mountaineering and in May of 2005 we climbed Skiddaw in the Lake district, Rosy started to be sick on the climb and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer after being sent for a scan., Rosy had five months of palliative care mainly in hospital or the local hospice before the cancer finally took Rosy from me.
